Treasure Box Tuesday - Free Version 5/12/26
Church Together and More!
Welcome to Treasure Box Tuesday, your weekly email of resources for faith + family + spirit from Traci Smith. Every week I share 3-5 interesting links, quotes, and ideas for faith and family. This version is always free, but you can check out the PREMIUM VERSION here which offers weekly additional links, offers, and goodies (and it supports this free version!) This email may contain affiliate links, which means I may earn a small commission if you click through and buy. I only link to things I love or use personally
ICYMI Faithful Families Training and Certification — Applications are now open for Faithful Families Training and Certification. I answered some questions in a special video I sent out yesterday. You can watch that HERE.
Pentecost Reading in Various Languages: A simple reader’s theater in different languages HERE
Four Directions Prayer — I recently read a version of THIS prayer that references the four directions as the directions from which the four winds come, which is why I thought it might be nice for Pentecost. Super lovely idea, and very embodied.
Miss Potter: I’m fairly certain I’ve recommended the movie Miss Potter before, but I just love it. It was really special to share with my children this weekend. They were all all incredibly touched by it. It explores deeper themes of grief, loss, success, failure and creative process, but it was fine for a 9 year old to watch. Rated PG. Movie HERE study guide HERE. This would be a great all-ages activity at church. Speaking of all ages…
Church Together: An Essential Guide to All-Age Ministry — I am excited for you to get your hands on my latest book, co-written with Dave Csinos. We had a great time dreaming it up, sketching it out, and organizing it for you. There are a ton of practical ideas for you along with important background and theoretical undergirding. Pre-order on Amazon HERE (or anywhere you like to buy books).
Enjoy the treasures, Friends,
Traci
